"Kevään kutsuhuuto", is an outdoor consert that combines Finnish folk songs and poetry recitation. The audience covers a distance of approx. 2.5 km on a traditional dog sled ride and settles down under warm blankets to enjoy the concert. Soprano Janette Hämäläinen sings traditional Finnish folk songs in the middle of nature, and recites poems. She is wearing a traditional outfit. After the concert, the audience moves to the campfire to enjoy coffee and sausages. By the campfire, the guide tells about the history of Finland and answers any questions that arise.
Soprano Janette Hämäläinen has recently graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater majoring in vocal music performance. She also has a Bachelor's degree in music pedagogy. Hämäläinen is working as a vocal teacher and as a freelance performer in various projects.
